Saipan is a quick 1 hr flight north of Guam.

The main touristic area is pretty low key and a lot smaller than Guam. We stayed at Fiesta resort on Micro Beach and because we didn’t have a car, we relied on Yelp and TripAdvisor to find a nearby cafe where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It was cloudy when we got to the hotel in the afternoon so my hopes for the sunset were dim, but what a surprise we had after dinner. The sky and the water turned a bright red. It was an amazing sight.

The next day after breakfast we headed to Managaha island for snorkeling. It started raining when we got there and it hasn’t stopped pouring until we left, but that hasn’t stopped us from snorkeling.

After lunch we caught a taxi to the airport and off we went to Palau.
