The last stop of our short trip to the east coast was St. Augustine Beach in Florida. We stayed at a hotel a couple of minutes away from the beach so we woke up early to watch the sunrise.

After breakfast we started driving slowly along the coast stopping at various points of interest.
By 8:30 am we were at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument a remnant of the Spanish occupation of Florida. The fort is in great condition.

That was the last stop of our brief but fun trip. We hopped on a plane and were back to the grind in no time.
