Before our day trip to Anacapa Island, we spent a day in lovely Solvang and Santa Barbara. Solvang is a beautiful little Danish village a few miles north of Santa Barbara. It’s filled with Danish treats and souvenirs. It’s easy to walk around the village and pop in to all the little shops and bakeries.

We went to Kalyra and Sunstone, two wineries close to Solvang, for some wine tasting, after which we headed to Santa Barbara.
